The basics, huh?

Scripts are special text files which tell the game engine which actions to perform and how to perform them on any given entity, or on the game itself. These scripts are located in the "sciptbank" folder of the program directory. To use a script on an entity, you simply assign a script to it by selecting one from a drop-down selection box in the editor. The entity options, including which scripts it will use, will appear on the left side of the editor whenever the entity is selected.

To place additional scripts in the program, simply add them to the "sciptbank" folder.

For more on scripting, please see this and this resource.

Welcome to the forum and wonderful world of FPSC game creation.

I would say have a search for FPI EditPad, Download it and open up some existing scripts and see how things are put together and you get get to learn about the Conditions and Actions

NickyDude has made a very good tutorial on how to start making and understanding scripts,

I have added his Tutorial in the download for you and others
it also has very good information on plenty of other fpsc subjects including work arounds.

Enjoy

That's not really helpful when almost everything in the game engine as a scripting option the OP wants more understanding not a limited understanding.

I for one understand how to select them but I have NO clue on what type is script this is, I would of thought it would of used a real scripting language like Lua 5.1 this would open the options to way more new scripts but from what I see its more of a control file then a real scripting language, I might be wrong as its not one I seen before but when so can anyone in detail explain about this language~?

I am a programmer but want to try making a game also own x9

Yes, in the links I provided above. I don't think anyone is willing to regurgitate all that info for you when it's already provided for you to read.

There are two documents that I use quite often. These got us started when we first worked with FPSC, and provide the foundation to how scripting works. You can download them here -->
