hey bud....go for it!!! I'm 24 and just getting started, but I love it. Personally I don't think you're too old for anything and it's never too late to start. As far as learning goes...there is plenty of help here in the forums with lots of people who will glady give it to you. Just stick with it. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Sometimes we are afraid to ask questions thinking that others will think we are dumb..., but at least you'll be smarter. the more questions you ask the more you learn. One thing though before you ask questions, is to do a search in the forums on the subject. You might find a post that will answer your question without having to make another post.
Math...don't worry, I'm not good at it either..jiji...but as with everything else in life..not everybody is the same...and you might have to study a little bit harder and more than someon else, but in the end you'll get it. Anyways...I'll quit ranting now....welcome to the group and remember..we are here to help.

Not everybody started at 10, I started using qbasic, never got real good at 12, and now at 14 I switched to DarkBASIC it seems a much better language because instead of having to have a subroutine thousands of lines long just to load a gif, you just use LOAD BITMAP, or LOAD ANIMATION and it works great! All the other people started when they were your age way back when with Amigas and all that, so nothing is impossible!

Good luck,
Juvy

Heh, I'm almost double your ages. You don't need to be a kid to pick up a new language and learn its quirks.
