Hello Folks,

Sorry to annoy again, but just a simp;e question.

I exported a character from 3dsmax to fpsc following the TGC tutorial (Character Studio).

I set my animation framerate to 25 fps both in animation playback inside 3dsmax and in panda exporter options.

The problem is that i realized that the command animate=x runs the animation well, however the animation speed is not 100% the same as inside 3dsmax. But i think i can speed up a bit the animation in 3dsmax to match the playback in fpsc.

However, when i run the command setframe=x,incframe=x, the animation runs fast, very faster, a lot faster than the original animation in 3dsmax.

Can someone explain to me why it happens?

Thanks,

I can't really help. All i can say is that FPSC runs animations at a set speed linked to the speed of the entity. Lowering the value of the speed for the entity should slow your animation down.

If you're able to compile the latest v119 code - there is a new script command called "setanimationspeed" which will allow you to break the default link between entity speed and animation speed so your animation will play at whatever speed you want.

Thanks my friend,

Yes, i noted this, fpsc runs entity animation based on entity speed.

I am creating a motorcycle (like conjured chopper) so i set it`s speed to 360, so i think it`s because that the setrfame=x,incframe=x plays the animation very fast.

About compiling the source code, no my bro, i am just a begginer, i now almost nothing about DBPro.

But in my case i just will use the command animate=x, and i will speed up a bit the animation in 3dsmax.

Anyway,

Thanks for the support.

P.S: The update 1.19 was already released? Where can i download it?
