The advertisements are at the bottom, and the only thing they obscure is your error messages which can be fixed by resizing the output window.

If you own Dark basic pro then try re-entering your license key and it should go away. failing that try reinstalling from an installer that isn't the free version.

If its the free version you may just have to put up with it, its a small inconvenience to pay for free use of such cool software.

Many thanks, Kezzla

I was getting fed up of trying to resize the Code Space to look behind it ...

my free version has never once showed an advert
no idea why. I havn't modified anything, just downloaded straight from the site and off I went. I use indigo as my IDE but neither indigo nor the dbpro interface show any adverts

Was gonna throw in my two pennies but decided not to because I didn't wanna bump this thread. Well the bumping has occurred so might as well.

Add-suported software relies on [annoying] adds to pay for development costs since it's free distribution. Circumventing that defeats the purpose. That is tantamount to pirating commercial software (ethically. Dunno the legalities, not a lawyer). What I find ironic (and plz don't take offense OP, I'm laughing at the irony, not you) is posting "how do I circumvent part of my license agreement with xyz software" on the software creator's forums. Heh, just life's little ironies. Just do what Kezzla suggested and resize your window or buy the software. If the add is floating in the middle of your screen, this has happened to me in fullscreen mode so thats why. Fix is to run in a normal window.
