a long time ago i got a book that included a cd with dbc lite do i still have the option to upgrade it to full version or no? if not i'll still get the bonanza deal thing.

Yeah. I'm still not sure about the commercial license, though. Selling games made with a commercial product downloaded off the internet seems a little shady.
