Hello to the community.

Mi trouble is this: i'm trying to use the 3rd person view of the Fenix Mod, but I can't seem to make it work, at all.

I've tried with the scripts alone, and installing the mod, but I can't associate the entity with the player (as far as I know, the only thing you need is to put the 3rd person view script as main script in a entity and that's it). I've tried testing it, but I appear in a default zone in the first person view, and the entity simply does nothing.

I currently have the 1.8 FPS Creator, and don't know if the script only works in a certain version or a certain type of entity.

Please, I could really use some help with this.

Your using the wrong version of FPSC. Read the fenix mod offical thread first.

is there a way to do it in a standard fpsc?

window 7 ultimate, AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 3.3 ghz, XFX Radeon HD6790 1GB, 16gb ram

Fenix mod isn't compatible for 1.18 (try 1.16), but if you want a working 3rd person script that requires no mod, try here:
