Just wondering: To export a character with animations from max to dbpro. You need to use physique and biped in max?
A custom bone structure and skin doesn't work?
Physique, besides being dated and a pain, is being discontinued by discreet logic.
That, and I prefer to build my own rigs.

No you dont need to use physique a standard bone rig works fine . Just get your hands on a nice exporter and everything should be fine.

Yeah, Panda should work fine for exporting bone based animations.

From a discreet logic rep when I was thinking on upgrading my copy of character studio.
We got onto a "Skin vs Physique" conversation, and agreed, skin was the way to go.
Physique, according to him, was being phased out of the package.
