I did a forum search to find out if enemies or allies could use multiple weapons through scripting, and I remember bond1 saying only one standard FPSC weapon could be used per script but you can use as many melee attacks as you want for an NPC (but I'm not sure if he meant an NPC being able to switch between different weapons or them being able to use multiple weapons at the same time). A lot of the threads I came across are quite old now, so I was wondering, with the advances in FPSC and mods, would it be possible now or in the near future to script enemies that can switch between different standard FPSC weapons?

Not really. Changing melee attacks works, look at bond1's zombies. Changing weapons would be quite hard as you'd need to change animations too.

All browsers should come with compulsory spell checks.

Switching between granades and gun would be cool! Use project blue if you have it.

So it's possible to do with Project Blue and/or certain other mods?

i think Nagrom was saying it wouldf help if you had a mod but i dont think its possible with just having the mod you would still need to make the animation

I've been wondering about this as well. It is entirely possible to make the character collect new weapons it finds using the FPI command "newweaponcanbeseen" and "collecttarget," but I'm not aware of a way of giving the NPC via script a new weapon without the NPC having to work for it.

It looks kinda crappy if you have a granade trooper, unlimited granades don't work too well.

It is possible with project blue. If you make the NPC start the script on sight of the player then you can make it change randomly between a time limit (Eg. 20-30 secs).
If you are willing to pay I am sure that Unleased will whip you up a script.

Find them here:

And please, if you manage - share the script with us.

Grozzy, you don't need to make an animation. You can stick with the enemy weapon draw animations that are already there!
Hope this helped. [quote]i think Nagrom was saying it wouldf help if you had a mod but i dont think its possible with just having the mod you would still need to make the animation]
