FPSC Classic Scripts / Waypoints Question

I am making a game which involves water. I want the character you play as to be a frog men, and little boats above you carrying your teammates to the shore of cuba. But, I am having problems. I made the entity a character, with the boat.fpe file mod of "ischaracter = 1" command, it follows the waypoint, but sideways, and the bow facing the side. I tried with an antigrav platform, the platform moves, but you, nor will any entity stay on it. It is just like moving art, it wont carry you or anything. Is there a way, where I can make the entity follow a waypoint without a antigrav platform, or changing it to a character? If not, can anyone help me fix these problems??? And I am running on the OFFICIAL update of v1.18 (Not a BETA). If this helps.

I've never heard of a boat script or knew there was one... that's kinda cool.

By chance have you poked at the platform scripts? The ones that move you vertically once you stand on them? Maybe you should check those out and apply it to your boat, and change it to horiz

I tried that, but the boat doesn't move. Man I really want to do this, but if I dont get an answer soon, I will have to think of something else (Im not being impatient, it is because i am making him a game for christmas).

search the fpe for the boat, open it and see rotatex=0, rotatey=90, rotatez=0. play around with this, but dont forget to erase bin- and dbo-files in the folder so the changes are used in fpsc (even better to close the editor when doing this and totally reload the new edited entity each time you change something).

sometimes works, sometimes not... as far as i experienced.
tried to turn rolfy´s spiders a time ago, but cant get it to work.
works another time with some other modells without problem, but i dont know why.

another way to do this is editing the waypointscript and add rotatex=X (° degrees) in the waypoint-lines. you can also try this workaround.
