I am trying to compile the sample programs on windows vista but keep getting you need to run the compiler as an admin. I have set the compiler to admin but still the same crap. Anyone know what is needed?

I cant remember where my huge win 7 post is if someone can help find it I would appreciate it...

If you can get that post its pretty much the same for vista and 7...

But you have to also disable DEP for the TGC folder and exes... and also probably just disable UAC... and also try disabling your antivirus for starters...

You may have to disable your UAC (user account control) and run your program in compatibility for XP SP2 and run it as an administrator. Try this. Did you run your installation as an admin? You could need to disable your antivirus. All of these are possible solutions to your problem. I highly recommend trying each step by step and see if this solves your problem. Good Luck!

Let's not leak our hard work.
