perhaps a more detailed input? can you post a screenie or full script or snippet of where this came from? it could mean anything as it stands currently...

But usually X is used as a stub to mean [INSERT YOUR VALUE HERE]
Meaning YOU define what value X has

Hope this helped

Hiya Meow think this is just the second time we have met on this here forum

hudred=x, hudgreen=x, hudblue=x

even if i dont know these commands ... when its for defining colors its the standard rgb-value from 0-255 (0=no named color, 255= full color, so midgrey would be r125,g125,b125)

hope it helps.

i had a look into the script-syntaxlist by ched. examples are only given with png-huds, so i think it is not usable with text? try alter a png-hud and see if the command works with it. or place it as in this sample, sometimes important to choose the right sequence of commands, in this case after adress of the hud so it alters AFTER fpsc knows what to alter.

Complete script-syntax-list:
Quote: "3.12.2.20 HUDRED=X
Description: This defines the level of red in the colour of the HUD item.
Range: X = 0 to 255
Example: :state=0:hudreset,hudx=50,hudy=90,hudimage=gamecore\huds\TestTubes\PressEnterToUse.png,hudred=0,hudgreen=0,hudblue=255,hudname=usedoorprompt,hudhide=1,hudmake=display"

Thanks Maho76 I will try that. I tried to dnload the script-syntaxlist by ched 4 times now and for some reason it hangs at
99 precent. There seems to be a few files that I can't dnload
for what ever reason. Tried to dnload it on another box and it
didn't work either.

I'll email Ched and see if he will attach it to a email, maybe I can get it that way.
