hey , . i got some questions about water ,, first of all when i make water to a 3d world i creat a matrix texture it and ghost it , but i want my player to get in the water in this is a diffrent problem , my question is how do i make the movement in the water , how can i make it look like it really in the water ? i thought about playing with the r,g,b when he get in the water and change the color but i dont know how to program it , . and another thing , i want the water texture to move on the matrix so it will be more realistic , not making the matrix move , just the texture , and i dont know how to do that too , plz help me if u can , thanks ..

try setting a transperent plane(colored blue) in front of the camera

to move water you could i suppose use a short movie of the water moving or somthing a .avi i guess but i dought that would work....to get the player to beable to get into the water turn off collision.

Simple: use shaders

Or try using animated textures
