only thing to say is: look into community guide, tutorials, ALL the other complex scriptstuff done by the folks around... and be creative
there is no really special trick but one: dont do scripts without some reason to script. when you dont build anything special to use special scripts, stay with the stock.
means: you have to build something complex where to solve special solutions for this. when you use easy maps&situations, also your scripts will stay easy. but dont worry, when start getting complex with fpsc, you will have enough reasons for problem-solving soon.
