what is a .dll? i read somwhere that they are files that hold commands and you could wright them to make new commands? if so, how do you write them? thanx

a DLL is a dynamic-Link-Library and for purposes of DBP they are made in C++/PureBASIC (and others). They contain FUNCTIONS that you can call from your dbp code, to enhance your coding adventure.

Nope. Only languages that can produce native dlls (the original type - no COM/ActiveX) and can have string resources attached.
