Hey all, finally have something worth showing with AppGameKit so here it is. I'm entering this into an educational video games contest (still have some work to do to make it more educational) but wanted to get some opinions before its due.

Yes, its a projectile game, but I wanted to make it a little more interesting so you actually have to pressurize your soda bottle rocket to launch it. Not enough pressure and it won't go anywhere, too much and it will explode on the launch pad (still have to animate that, so couldn't show it off)

Let me know what you think!

It's fine, but why use VirtualButtons? Their style is -oh-uh-. Better to change their graphics.

Yeah, virtual buttons are next on my hitlist, most likely replacing them all together with just sprites. Graphics are next, only half of them are updated beyond my initial sketches.

And thanks MrValentine for embedding the video, how exactly did you do that, I tried a few times to get it to work and it never did.

use
Quote: "[ youtube]"

with
the end piece from after the = sign from your youtube video page URL
with
this
Quote: "[ /youtube]"

hopefully this will show you how to do it without going nuts

EDIT

MEH ok just remove the single space between [youtube and [/youtube and remember to add the ending one ] on each

EDIT

The URL bit

get rid of this part
Quote: "http://youtu.be/"

and focus on this specific area
Quote: "MmNu-mSuidE"
