Looks nice Need some texture blending, and the mountain texture seems a bit stretched, but nice!

Is this in DBP or a modelling program (the axis in the bottom left led me to think this )

thanks for the comments everyone

(when nANo posted an enviroment pic, ppl just whined.)

That is the atmosphere that covers half the terrain. Hills & mountains, patches of grass and dirt, 8 different trees scattered throught the terrian, lakes & rivers (all animated including a really cool looking waterfall I'm working on) the water fall will be a seperate .3DS object from the map but animated & positioned on the map in a way that makes it look like its part of the landscape.
Oh and there is also a nice big canyon with a bridge across it.

I spent alot of the developing time addresing all the details on the landscape so it would look more then a flat plain matrix. Anyhoo can't show more screenies just yet but I did want to share the models in the game, take a peak: (i posted the link too in case it doesnt show)

enemies will be blasting around on this jeep while shooting at you. (I might even make it so YOU can drive if thats the feedbacl)

yea there is a wierd problem with the links. It worked a while ago.

thanks for the feedback but I must have been misunderstood. Not all the modells are made by me! I mainly got them from friends, or had my 3d artist make some. I do the the programming ,and level design. (along with some basic moddeling), another member of megaton creations does the 3d things (effects, simple modells etc) and another one takes care of the design and some of the level creation (story, characters, dialog) anyway currently busy detailing the landscape, will post more screens soon later today or tommoro.

thanks

p.s just how the heck did this threadget 1, 241 views?!!?

its going to be mainly an short action-rpg. I don't want to say anything about the game till I make a thread in the work in progress but I got a few things done. Like the main movement for the alien, collision and a story along with events events (story not in game yet I only wrote up on paper) and still have quite a bit of stuff to do.

@QuothTheRaven: they should work, but I will let u know

Yea its pretty nice, but I might not be able to use it cause it doesnt match some of my other buildings. But I think it would look nice there standing by the beach in the game. Thanks for the comments. I am currently working on the interior levels and will post em up sometimes today or maybe tommoro.
