Hi everyone, I know that media is not everyone's strong point, so I decided to make a bunch of free high quality textures to be used in your games. Only thing I ask in return, is my name (Chris Van Wijmeersch) in your game (credits). Thanks.
For now, 8 (tileable) rock textures. A few of them are only tileable horizontally, while the rest is tileable in both directions.
More free textures coming soon.

Here are a few screenies:

Hope you'll like them.

Cheers

Very nice, I like them

What would make this even better would be to include the following for each texture so it's easier to use with shaders.

-normal map
-bump map
-emissive map
-specular map

Yes yes, that might help, but wouldn't it be better for every individual to make these maps themselves? I mean, I could make the normal maps, bump maps, etc..., but I might set it too high or too low for some.

1. Have diffuse
2. Have normals, spec, etc.
3. Contrast and Saturation editing.
4. ???
5. Profit!

The sample look nice. I'm checking out the zip now. Which ones are only tileable horizontally?

Could you explain points 3,4 and five a bit more in depth, zeroSlave? I'm not sure what you mean. Thanks.

Glad you like 'em.
The following are only horizontally tileable:

- Concrete_003
- Moist_Concrete_001
- Moist_Concrete_002

All the others are tileable in both directions.

It's a meme thing, just ignore me. I was being goofy.

They are nice. And I see what you mean about the tileablity. I was gonna see about making them tile vertically, but they got that nice gradient on them.

Thanks, cloudwalker!
Have a few more rock/wall textures finished, and I'm working on a few others too.
