Hey all, I'm looking for a script to make characters walk around. This is a must with most games. For a good example most of Bethesda games have NPC's and even enemies that walk around, not always on a way point. Is there a way to make characters walk randomly and when coliding with an object change direction?

Must we use waypoints to make this work? If so is there a way to assign NPC's to their own waypoint path without following another NPC's waypoint?

@Teabone
I suggest you look at the DarkAI scripts, as they seem to already do this, also play around with anywithinzone, anywithin etc.

The FPI editor is good for underlining bad syntax, however I prefer straight notepad since I'm using additional commands from MODs. I should really look into the Dark AI FPI command line scripts since I have yet to poke at them. Thanks guys!
