Hi all. Searched for 'drop' in the forums but don't see anything that can help. Is there a command or script that will create an ammo entity at the position a character is destroyed? characterdrop command for example?

You can make the character drop his weapon and you can also set the amount of ammo in the weapon he drops. I'm not sure about dropping an ammo entity though...

That's right but does not seem to be a way of setting a destroyed character to drop health, ammo or key for example.

You can spawn another entity but need a solution to spawn it near where the character drops.

Thanks anyway for the prompt reply.

If Scene Commander can get the entity internal variable (such as $EPX) to work with setvar= then you will be able to pull of this kind of effect.

You will be able to spawn your health/ammo entity somewhere in the level (triggered by the character's death) and then move the entity to the position of your deceased character.
