I'm looking for a script where it will slow down time for 'x' amount of time. So if you open a door suddenly, like if you shot it down and theres characters in there, is it possible to slow down the time, kind of like in Modern Combat 3 Falling Nation.

stuff your map with an awesome amount of triggering entities, only spawn for the amount of seconds you need > fps goes down the line > bullettime^^

@maho76: Decrease of FPS will be visible by the player (gameplay wise). The trick is to have a global multiplier, and be able to change that with FPI scripting, they could make a command that allows u to mess with the Timer Based Movement of FPSC, so u would be able to change the speed of movements/animations.

Cheers,

was more of a joke, red.

but otherhands i experienced that fps drop consequences in another way in fpscgames than others. it doesnt start bucking but more simply slows down everything but stay smooth, especially with v119. interesting effect, i use it in my game, spawning a big number of enemies at once. while shooting them down, game gets faster and faster again (sometimes assaultrifle sound like a wild stakato after that... too fast^^). nice feeling of releasing pressure.

@Maho, If you want Bullet time, just run FRAPS while playing your game.
