Hi, i'm A.M. '^'

Yes, im a newb lol. i found this place on a random google search.
i was wondering though if any teams wanted/could have use for an illustrator... i'm a hobbyist, so i was just looking for some extra practise. And.. something more beneficial than just posting random pictures on the internet i guess.

i like thrillers and horror-genre games a lot. Not really fantasy. x_x

I would like a manga set of playing cards. Just, you know, the Jacks to king as manga images, and maybe a back for them.

i was kind of hoping on joining a team to work with though. Not really requests..
But i guess i could try doing them. i didn't post any samples anyway.

Not sure how the backs will turn out and how large you want them, but i can probably show you a rough in a few hours.

Edit: here, i drew the base of the cards' figures. Take a look and tell me what you think?

Hello erm whatever your name is... welcome to the forum we hope you have a pleasant stay and can see past our quirky speech disorders (lmao you know what I mean) anyway...

It may help to show some of your talent?

Use something like dropbox or that silly flikr thing and use the image link here above the edit box and link directly to the image simple really...

Then I will see what you can do

I have characters in mind... male and female... can you also let us know of your colour pallate? some Manga artists like doing Dawn style images over Dusk etc...

So looking forward to your samples

No, i don't have a website though. i just kind of draw them, i guess since i was 4 or something like that... i started using photoshop in Gr.7 and Sai in Gr.10. i hope that answers the question.

Yes, nice art. I would prefer to have light eyes rather than dark eyes. Something looks wrong about the brown in the eyes where it should be white.

xamxam, those are extremely nice images. Great use of colors. I do, however, have to agree with Pincho Paxton. The eyes should be lighter.

Nice work, A.M!

I'm working on a non-traditional RPG for PC (And will later be ported to XNA for XBox 360)... I'm still tweaking the engine right now, but once that's done our team could use a 2D character illustrator/designer! I'll contact you when the storyboard has been completely drafted up.

You should set up a site... Google.com/sites is a good way to go, it's kinda limited, but it's free and easy to use. Cheers!
