How would one go about this? I know it has something to do with memblocks, etc. I've seen Van-B make a primitive modeler using DB so I know it is possible...
Any thoughts, snippets would be well appreciated - thanks!

Perhaps I should rephrase the question. How does one make vertices and lay 3d polygons without the build in primitives WITHOUT THE TRIANGLE TOOL. In addition, it would be handy to know how to make these home-brewed models save into .3ds or .x format. However, the saving past for now is really farfetched so we'll start with the first one request... Any comments suggestions - this would kindof be useful to know. Thanks.

NOTE: I'm using DBClassic. Yeah, I'm a cheapskate...

Hmmm... 44 views, 2 days and I'm the only one yakking. Either I'm asking a really hard question, or a really stupid question, or I'm asking a question that belongs in the newcommers corner. Maybe nobody understands me??! I will no longer be keeping this thread alive from this day forth...

Try searching the forums for threads on memblock meshes.

As I'm DBPro only cant help too much but if its the same commands look under MAKE MEMBLOCK FROM MESH and MAKE MESH FROM MEMBLOCK to see how the vertex info is arranged. I think theres something in the codebase too.
