I have wanted to make a Scar for some time now and finally decided to get it done.

I grabbed some pics of the gun in DBP (the wire is from Milkshape):

1630 polies. No shaders.

So many games to code.......so little time.

It's a good effort. I think though, your relying on the texture map too much, if you got rid of the notches at the top and bottom, and spent those polygons on the pull levers etc, then I think it would look better. Would be good to have a normal map for those rail notches if you do that. Problem is that at a FPS angle, a side on photograph doesn't do a gun justice - the more detail you can add to the left hand side of a gun, the better.
