Ok this is currently in very early development but i have successfully compiled it all and used python to run the sample tutorial from the docs perfectly!
Using a simple (for now)
SWIG interface i can wrap PureGDK for use in the following languages:
Allegro CL
C#
CFFI
CLISP
Chicken
D
Go
Guile
Java
Lua
Modula-3
Mzscheme
OCAML
Octave
Perl
PHP
Python
R
Ruby
Tcl
UFFI
EDIT: sorry about the wrong number on the title, its 4am.
Although this has only been tested on python it is promising so far. This opens up a lot of possibilities for development with PureGDK, use a rapid development language like python to write difficult parts of your game in a fast and easy environment and then convert it to c++ later or just run in all in the language of your choice!
DOWNLOAD V1.0 - A readme is included (preperation step needed for all languages) aswell as a python setup file to allow compilation for use in python.
I would love to have some people test out some of their favorite languages to see how it works, although you may have to look at the swig documentation on how to compile it for your language but it should be rather simple.
I intend to provide continues support for this as needed, if you have any suggestions, tips or are able to test it out it would be greatly appreciated.
Enjoy gents!
