im sure as everyone is well aware of, many of thhe water scripts are faulty. the water goes thru walls, and doors. Any ideas on how to fix this, so that the water is just in one area or different areas!

It's not a fault of the scripts. It's the way the water has been hard-coded, so that it covers a whole floor/layer.

However, there is a work around developed by rolfy. Take a look at his thread here.

as bruce said, water is only a plain shader used over the whole map, its intended to be like that. you have to use tricks and workarounds to do special things with it. rolfy´s system is great, try it. also turning waterzones on/off in combination with propper levelbuild is good to use.
