I made a fairly big map with some zombies outside of it, but the problem is that I can't get them come after me and melee me!

ALL I want to know, is how to get zombies to follow waypoints and navigate their way TO ME.

If I run from them and hide behind a wall, the zombies will just keep walking face forward into the wall like idiots. I need the zombies to navigate and find me.

PLEASE help me and I will be EVER so thankful

Actually, I think the scripting tutorial in the community guide covers this exact scenario. Check that out to see if it's there.

If it's not there...what have you tried? Can you post what you've got and why you think it doesn't work?

Do you mean inside or outside of the map?

What is the name of the main fpi for the zombies?

Well I'm basically trying to make something similar to Black ops Zombies Map : Kino Der Toten.

I tried using waypoints to lead the zombies into the building with the pace10.fpi scrpit in the 'Main AI' section. And in the 'Shoot' section, I used the meleeclose.fpi script.

There's just too many problems with the zombies, like, they wont even follow me around corners.

@Levi Barros
Use DarkAI. You can also edit the DarkAI scripts to make the zombies use the correct animations. Because you're using those scripts, so wonder they aren't following you properly.

Well for this project and for zombies as such it would take a good amount of AI scripting. If you are trying to make them follow the waypoint you can pull the waypoint info from a premade script then after they complete the waypoint you can use the follow script. I am not sure if there is a script that allows them to avoid objects or somthing similar but that is everything you need to place together.

Yeah okay, I'll probably just try using Dark AI.

But hey, if I figure this one out properly n what not, I am going to probably make a quick YouTube tutorial for it.

Thanks for your help though guys

Cheers to ya!
