I am writing a script reddening screen. My task: to make a smooth appearance (as alpha image) of hud using global variables.

How do I do?



This method is not working. But if not, then what?

You need to load the HUD using the standard FPSC commands, not the GUIx9 commands (those are for menus). Also, alpha should be set to 255 and the command is changehudalpha=HUDNAME %alpha.
