Hi,

Well this technically isn't 3D but im going to use it to apply to 3D. Well anyways, here it goes...

I need someone to solve this Trigg. equation for theta...(get theta by itself)





I don't want you to find what theta is(meaning the numerical value), I just need the formula...

I havn't brushed up on my Trig yet (re-learning algegra at the moment) but is this what your trying to find? Because I'm not sure to be honest.

theta = asin(C/E)

I believe it is...

asin = sin^-1 im guessing?

I knew that was the answer, I just wasn't 100% sure...
