If I attempt to load a non existent image dbIsImage() will still return true even though the image did not exist.



This happens using GDK1 also. If you paste the non existent image to screen you get a black screen(GDK2) or a black rectangle(GDK1).

The command works when checking an image ID which has not been used in an attempt to load an image.
