Hi Guys, I\'m really sorry about this but I hope someone can see my error. I have placed an entity into my level and have applied the \"friendly AI\" script from http://www.madladdesigns.co.uk/fpsc/guide/ocfpscguide.pdf

i have tried changing some of the state driven code but actually it all makes sense to me so I can't see anything wrong. The main line seems to me to be
; *** ENTITY FOLLOWS YOU
:state=1,plrdistfurther=150:animate=5,followplr

The entity does indeed turn to face me when I move in range and also starts to run when I move thereafter beyond 150 units. The problem is that she runs on the spot. I have turned on debug visuals and I AM leaving a trail. I have attached a screenshot which shows the entity\'s properties so I hope someone can assist me.

I was hoping to adjust this to introduce the idea of a \"Pet\" into my final game. I have only tinkered so far but even with quite simple scripts I cannot get any entity to move from the spot and followplr.

Thanks to any Guru who can assist.

BTW I am using the free version of FPSC which I received when I invested in DarkBasic Studio.

Newbies are the oldies of tomorrow, but if they aren't watered they will wither and die.

I do not think it is a script problem because looking at the image here the character appears to be 'sunken' into the floor segment.

Try re-placing the character back onto the floor by selecting it and then press 'ENTER' on your keyboard which should snap the entity down to the floor.

Good luck
