RIGHT NOW im too stubborn to buy a mod. i was able to find this flashlight script made by s4real. sadly, there is one flaw that i dont like about it. it has unlimited range! I really dont want that. my question is, how can i limit the range of this script?[;Artificial Intelligence Script

You really can't the script just runs a hud that gives you the appearence of a flash light. The light actually comes from an overall ambience adjustment. I suggest you look at errantai's led light model from the store.

wait a minute..... could you possibly modify eai's led light and combine it with s4reals flashlight script,so instead of having a HUD it would be EAI's flashlight script contained in the mini led when turned on, and use s4real's "press the f button to activate" part of his script? Also modify it so it can be placed in a dynamic light or trigger zone, then you can press f and it will turn on. just wondering.

Theoreticlly you could, and I have actually messed around with it. However it maybe more work than it's worth.

Something that you could try is to make a hud that is all black and and has a small circular viewing area.

At one point I was trying to get that left for dead weapon mounted flashlight. But it's just not there for FPSC.

You could concievibly model,texture,rig and animate one. But that,to me anyway, seems like and awful lot of work.
