I do not know if this is of any use other than to me.
I made a cleaner. What is does is start the
FPSCreatorCleaner.exe and press the Y button for you and run the FPSCreatorCleaner.exe.
I just got tired enough of all the clicks and presses that I made this to automate part of the process.
You still need to press anykey to close FPSCreatorCleaner but to me that is easy enough.

To use Cleaner.exe, download and put it in the FPSC root where FPSCreatorCleaner.exe is at. make a shortcut to Cleaner.exe and put it anywhere. Click the shortcut and FPSCreatorCleaner.exe runs automatically.
If it is of use. Enjoy. If not I am sorry to waste your time.

Edit: VirusTotal came up with a false positive because of how the program runs. The program is completely fine!

According to VirusTotal's site there is possibly a worm embedded with this file (glad I downloaded it on Ubuntu).

Also, I'm all for new FPSC stuff, but it sounds like this only clicks the "Y" key for you? Shortcut icons can easily be created for the existing cleaner.

If people need an alternative FPSC cleaner, bond1's works pretty good! http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=196309

Thanks Meows, this will come in handy.

I often forget to go to the root folder, open the cleaner and then run it. Then I make changes only to see that the changes had no effect, because i forgot to "clean". Grrr.

Nice little applet, Meows. Tried it here, works great. No virus- it showed clean on 4 different systems and scanners, so obviously a "false positive" from the poster above. I'm certain some will have use for this.

It was just one of the scanners that said there was a possible worm. I agree it could be a false positive, it just seemed suspicious.

Thank you Meows for the addition to the ever-growing kit of FPSC tools!

What scanner? I built this with c++ it's a 4 line code. simple/
I run Comodo, Avirus, Norton Clamwin, and many others and NO virus. I really want to know as this is very strange.

I better shut up. I never knew Bond had one I would have used his. Instead of making one. And yes I wanted the Press any key to exit so I could see all the files that were cleaned.

The VirusTotal site came up with that, not me doing individual scans. Half the programs people make look suspicious to some anti-virus program out there.

Glad you added another cleaner for FPSC though It's always nice to see the community growing!

Well I finished researching

depressing post.
anyway. the "possible worm embedded" Jiangmin Worm/Sohanad.aim 20120911
is because there is a key stroke in the program.. It presses the Y key.

Maybe we should engage the brain before accusing someone with our over taxed emotions.

Meows,

I'm sorry if I've offended you. I had merely pointed it out without thinking. I'm glad the file is clean, that makes perfect sense why it would have been flagged.

I remember trying a test game out and my A/V came up saying there was a virus because of the way the installer program had packaged it.

Best of luck with the file cleaner! Again, I'm sorry if it seemed I was accusing you.
