Try this

NOTE - you should place your audio file in the 'audiobank' folder with this script.

Not sure about this script but you can give it a try.

Can't you just use the soundloopinzone.fpi in a soundzone? Or does he want something else?

The Nerevar

I'm not sure what the objective is but it's just a suggestion above going on the information given and there must be a reason why a soundzone isn't being used.
If more information about the use of the looping audio is given then we might be able to provide an alternative script or a alternative method of achieving the outcome of the effect wanted.

For one thing, we don't know how long the audio is supposed to be looping for or if it is triggered somewhere else to be stopped?
Is it music or a sound FX (ie - dripping tap FX)?

More INFO please abdullh.

okay thanks mr ross tra and mr The Nerevar

sorry i didn't give you more details what i want i'm so sorry

i mean music loop

i will give you example

when the player reach to the triggerzone the music began and monster appear ...he must find away to to escape from him ...when he reach the second triggerzone lets say (room) the enemy will disappear and music will be disable ..and start another (music relax) loop

like ( Amnesia - resident evil 3 ) ( when nemsis appear it will strat music when you reach to another place the music fadeout and start another music )

i know this is bit diffcult... but with you it's easy

thanks

Its late here so I will post the script for when the player 'enters' the first trigger zone.

NOTE - I tested the script but I used '.OGG' format for my music file which is a much smaller file than '.WAV' but I left the .WAV extension in the script.
I do recomend using the 'audiobank' address for your music files though.

Maybe post the second trigger zone script tomorrow.

Good luck.

There is a stock script called musicchangeinzone.fpi in your scripts folder that does exactly what you're looking for. You can use it for both Trigger Zones and just select the music file in the editor

Sorry, I have been very busy the last couple of days plus I am having trouble myself trying to get the second part of the script working OK.
I can't get the 'first' looping music track to stop when entering the second triggerzone.

I will look into it further and post any finished results asap.
NOTE - Please note that I am using FPSC V-1.09 and 'not' all the latest commands and actions are available to be used in this version.

BTW - It's 'good' to see you had a go at making your own script.

Yeah well... it isn't that complicated to modify the musicchangeinzone script to only trigger the music once, is it?

Simply delete trigger line 2 which resets the script, and that's it.

Check out the link below for a 'workaround' method of changing looping music with trigger zones.
I have just the basic scripts there but you may be able to use these trigger zone scripts to trigger other things as well as the music.
All I am capable of doing to help you with what you want here.

Good Luck and all the best.
