I'm looking to create a fighting game using 3d background but the characters only move in a 2d plane! Can I do this with this software?

Thanks for answering my question!!! what I'm looking to make is games like Marvel vs capcom 3, BlazBlue and Mortal Kombat.. those games now have a 3d graphics and they move in a 2d plane.

You may be interested in trying out this little demo program I wrote. You can use it as a base if you like for building your game.



It won't run if you don't have Sparky's. You'll need to install this plugin : http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=31051&b=5

I need help to use that code.. how do i make it run its giving me an error " compilation failed " I'm not a programmer but i can understand what effect the code have on stuff on the screen. Please help
