FPSC Classic Scripts / Unbeliveable issue. Finished Game stops playing.

I am not sure what is going on. I have a sold game that is now not playing.
Here is the scoop.

Finished game. Built with 119
Logs running and shows 1.5 to 1.7 Gig memory used.

I talk to a friend about setting up a shareware system and reinstall the game and now, not one level will play. You see the loading screen and then it crashes. CHecking the logs it shows all levels using 1.8+ to 2Gig of memory!

Does this have anything to do with upgrading to 120?
I did go to each levels setup.ini and make
dynamiclighting=0
and it had no effect.

Don't forget that FPSC v-1.20 is still in Beta stage.
If I were you I would just revert back to the original version that the game was built in plus make sure you have all the original settings you used for your game (setup ini & Preferences).

All I can do to advise.

the problem is in finished game or in editor when building game?

editor: when you use cleaner, calculation of a map raises drastically until the dbo´s are written. after first cancel the map loads on lower ram-use again. i saw that you wrote your own cleaner, maybe thats the problem if you have automated it to clean before/after running fpsc. the lowered ram-use on dbo-reading exists since v119betas. so simply load each level as testgame so dbos are written and then build game without cleaning.

game: if the buildgame now doesnt work but did before, it might has something to do with your packer or protector-prog.

It is a 119 final built game. It is running on customers boxes. Just not MINE!

I am wondering if it has something to do with a install of a link I found here World something. a game maker that really toasted my directx setup I had to reinstall Directx as it installed a version that was not compatable with DarkBasic or FPSC.

However why that would change a built game I do not know.

It puzzles me.
