When I run my game in Lazarus it works, when I double-click the compiled EXE it just freezes. Does anyone know why this would happen?

It's not going to be much use if it only works inside an IDE with source. How is an AppGameKit level 2 game deployed for Windows? What are the requirements?

1: The EXE
2: The AGK.DLL in the same folder
3: The "Media" folder in which I store resources to load at runtime

What am I missing?

Applying SysUtils.Beep to my code step by step I was able to identify it was TAgkMusic.Play that was causing the freeze. To reproduce follow these steps...

1: Open Agk0401_PlayingMusic.lpr
2: Run in IDE (it works)
3: Double click the EXE to run outside of the EXE (freezes)

This looks most likely to be something weird with my laptop. It works okay on other machines so I will try reinstalling my O/S
