The problem is that if it were the GPU, the LED's which indicate that the monitor is even plugged should light up when I press the power button ( a blue led under the screen ) but not even that lights up.
It's connected with a 3pin power cable, and the power supply is inside of the screen.
And it works now, it's just that, even when idling on my pc ( so it shouldn't be my GPU getting to hot or something like that ) it just turns itself off, and only goes back on if I remove the power plug for half a minute.
Edit: After some more testing, I think I've ruled out the GPU as being the cause of the problem:
1. When hooking up a second monitor, this continues to work after the other has gone dead ( my faulty one ), even after swapping the connectors.
2. After my monitor goes dead, there's no power running trough the cable ( my dad has a small box to test for faulty cables, but you can also use it for this

)
I've contacted Iiyama, and they're coming somewhere this week to swap it. If it's still going dead, I'm gonna send them my GPU, though I doubt it.
Thanks for your help guys
