you need to leave some code so someone can look at it....as for a sky i suggest "fog on",i think that is your only choice outside if placing a textured box overhead.

it just hit me,you can "make matrix ..." and position that matrix above your ground matrix (atleast 200). with some intution on your part it could work and look great.

oooh but you gotta watch those poly's and using a 1*1 matrix will require a v.large texture that could slow the game down, using a 2*2 or more would require seemless textures and believe me, that ain't good for the sky your best bet is a sky box/sphere with really cool textures or fog to cover-up problems.

if the matrix is high enough the the details won't show...and i did say he would have to use some imagination, a sphere is a better than a box but he would have the same problem as a box, either low rez(because the pic got streched or a x-treamly high rez pic that take up resources that can be used else where).

Hi, thanks all for helping. I finally was able to make a decent skybox using good textures. Anyone knows what's that shadow (in picture)???

I haven't tried your code, but I think it could be something to do with this line:

set camera range 10,11000

Change it to the following, and see if things get better:

set camera range 1, 11000

i think it is the lighting, try "set ambeint light value" the value should be between 0 (complete darkness to 100 (very bright).
