As it is somehow frustrating seeing the players consuming my game without AA / AF, I`m curios if there is any possibility to set the flags for Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering in the game scripts or in the ini files?

FPSC can look really good when you set resolution up (vie Debug section of the ini) and the GFX driver settings for AA / AF to max, but only few players will do that even if you state it in the manual.

Any idea?

Hi Ivan,

as far as I know, FPSC does not feature Antialising and Anisotropic Filtering. These features would have to be implemented into the sourcecode.

Another way to get AA working would be a fullscreenshader like FXAA (or another smooth-shader with edge-detection), but I haven't seen one for FPSC yet. There should be one for DBP, but it didn't work in FPSC.

Yet another way would be to set these things with a little app that runs in the background directly in the driver. I believe that both manufacturers have an API for that.

The last thing I have in mind is to use a shader injector like in the ENB-mods to get Antialiasing. But you won't be able to achieve AF with this, I think.

Greetings,
Jan

Hmmm i think there is something like this in fpsc. Try the ssaa.fx posteffect, this must do the same. Maybe i am wrong, but try it.

you need a script? I need useful requests at the moment!

Allright, AA is already integrated and works fine:

Now Texture Filtering would be nice ^^

Edit: Don`t know if it really works or if I am hardened to aliasing
