I thought it was going to be crappy because you said it was fraught with problems. Actually it is one of the best sites I have seen. That mountain scene fades to bright white though, and it blinds me.

Very nice. But You may want to consider getting rid of the iframe.

@Pincho:yea i guess ur right, my monitor is kind of dark tho so I dont notice it as much, but ill see wat I can do.

I also forgot to link the art thumbs to the big ones and add the "about" and "contact" pages because I was trying to get this done in a hurry (was getting pushed of the computer by my parents)
Well anyway ill get back to work, much more work to do.

thanks again

yes it is one giltched as hell frame. If u clik the "alienware" link in it u will get to browse the whole db site inside thatlittle frame. Yes its annyoing but kinda fun. Try it.

So u really think I should remove it?

well, if you add the following into your <a> tag, you can control what happens when you click the link:

to open in a new window, use
target = "_blank"

to use the parent of your iframe (i.e. the whole page, maybe what your looking for), use
target = "_parent"

easy

LoL megaton I actualy prefer your site to binarymoon.co.uk.

The ifram is not needed realy.

Pros:
As soon as I go on the site I see a clean easy to read website. Nice use of images and colour. The menu is well presented and blends in well with the rest of the page.

Cons (only two ):
The iframe. I personaly hate these things. There is no need for it I dont think. Its just another fiddly little scroller I have to use to read the information presented. It would a lot easier for me just to not have it and have all the information on the screen and use the one scroller if it goes over the screen.

The "Home of Wonder" image on your website looks a little blurd and it spoils the look of the site (one of those things that just catches the corner of my eye and bugs me)

Please dont take the comments the wrong way. Im only trying to help

vivi

The "Home of Wonder" goes really nicly with the webby and the colour is fine just sharpen it up a little. I dont know what you are using for the images if its Fireworks/Paintshop then it shoudn't be much of a bother.

Probably not though, tested it on a 640x480 and you just had to scroll

David89 its all really good Until I use that menu. It look really out of place. Please loose it. It only works on IE6 and its can be replaced with some CSS/DHTML so easily.

Was the idea of splitting the weeby like that your idea. I havn't seen it been done like that before.

Anyone who still uses 640x480 for anything but a) testing purposes, b) eye torture or c) lack of video drivers should be tied up in a burlap sack and beaten with sticks for twenty days. So there

Same applies the 800x600 but the method of punishment is merely tying them up in a sack and throwing them down a waterslide (don't worry, we catch you at the bottom)

It actually work in ie 4+. I'll have a look for a few more, if i find one that's easy to use then i'll loose it, but before that i will lose it

lol, by lower res i meant 800x600. do you have to scroll side ways at 800x600? i would test it myself, but the other week i put all my desktop icons in a very nice pretty pattern, and changing desktop res in xp re-aligns all your icons boringly.

hmm, we have a couple of old NT servers at work running at 640x480, but i doubt neither the monitors or graphics cards are capable of going any higher lol. i havent even tried changing them, we'll probably have fried monitor

That is a very nice and professional looking site. Is it hand coded or did you use a app to work on it?

I think what I like about it most is the color selection. Though I did see there the color fade on the mountain would be real bright on some monitors.

Can't wait to see some more of your content if it is as good as your site.
