if you are not using the product then how do you claim to be able to help the community?

not that it is impossible, I am just asking.

Uh, right. You try to use another company's boards for advertizing your own completely unrelated 'company', then claim that the first company is childish when they lock your out-of-context post and say that that's why you don't use their software. Yeah, right, that makes a whooole lotta sense

A little off topic but I'd like to take this oppertunity to advertise my new breakfast cereal - Coder Flakes!. I'll admit that Coder Flakes are made by picking the burnt bits off a pizza, but they're tasty and good for you. Great as a light snack or an entire meal when there's nothing else to eat.

If any of the TGC team feel that my advert is inapropriate, then feel free to put it on the front page of this website instead.

forget it, it got locked and deleted like 5 seconds after it was created. I was lucky to have stumbled upon it the second it was made (and a few others)

But didn't Rich say posts were never truly deleted and that they were just hidden from the average user? Then again... maybe I dreamt that.

I deleted it and Im sticky by what I did

It says strictly in the rules

Quote: "
You may request assistance for DarkBASIC projects only. Do not post saying you're "making a game in C/Java/Blitz/etc and are looking for graphics people to help" (for example). We will delete these types of posts instantly.
"

I was following what Rich says, just doing my job as a moderator.

Perhaps Koguchi Oliveri you should read these rules, and then post? If you chose to ignore them, the link is here

http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=8908&b=9

Maybe now you will see what you did was wrong, and was totally neglecting the FIRST rule

Good luck at others forums, try reading the rules there before you post

Can anyone help?

I'm also looking for a texture artist.

I'm not really a fan of post deleting. Never done it in the forums I've moderated.

The best solution is to have a "You Naughty Boy!!!!!!" forum where you move all posts that are naughty.

People then get bored, go into the naughty boy forum, have a laugh and sinse it's relegated to the naughty boy forum, they generally dont give the poster any credit.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooo ... YOU NAUGHTY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!

Insiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!
