how do you make a program that looks like darkedit? you know with the window and such? or was that program written in a different language....thanx in advance

That would need to be done in one of the following:

C++
C#
VB6
VB.NET
FoxPro
(or a similar win32 enabled lang)

Theoretically it is possible to write an editor in dbp but you would need to hook so many of the win32api stuff into it, that eventually, IMHO, it would be more work than it was worth. I think DarkEdit may have been written in FoxPro but I am not sure.
