Hey all, I'm going to be up in the Denver area all next week on business. Any recommendations of fun things to do out there?

I live close by! I would say go to Elitch Gardens, but I'm sure they're closed. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is a very nice museum! If I think of anything else, I'll tell you! Keep us posted on what you do, so I can stalk you...

I'm definitely going to hit 1up arcade and probably the art and science museums. Not sure what else to go look at

That reminds me, the Denver Art Museum is also pretty epic, and very neat architecture there.

Woo so day 2 in Denver, wow is it neat here! There's hills and mountains and tall buildings. Hehe, I come from the plains so it's quite a change. Also I'm starting to find I breath heavy and run out of steam quickly

I stopped in at 1up and that was a blast! Spent 5 bucks and played for an hour on all kinds of pinball and games. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics cuz I went alone so I wasn't about to bring my dslr

Traffic is low at night which is good because driving is confusing even with GPS but I'm getting the hang of it. Here's a couple neat pics of a college in the city.

I went in and found a nice lady at the front desk. She said we could walk around and take pics so I did. The church had a big sign saying talk to security downstairs to take a look. That sounded somewhat too official so I checked the door and it was unlocked. Walked in and it was cooold, and dark. Thank goodness I didn't get security, I doubt they would have let me walk around with the lights off.

Ah, fascinating! Never been there! Did you come in through Denver International or did you drive here?

Yeah, it's about 4000 feet, or around a km higher here than where I'm from.

Ohio is pretty low, averaging maybe 1k feet above sea level. As a fairly active person, I'd be interested in running a few miles at that higher altitude to see how it feels in comparison.

Ah, about 8000 feet where I live! Definitely a noticeable difference going from sea level for 2 weeks back to here!
