Hey there community!

I recently started working on an all asian themed fantasy pack. Which should feature a lot of ancient chinese, korean, japanese and thai architecture and fantasy assets. Since I model for fun and most of this asian architecture annoyed me and was hard to do I abandoned the project. I also didn't want to do jungletemple ruins because, come on! Jungletempleruins have been done to death in videogames.

This Dojo got finished and since I wont do that pack, at least not anytime soon, you guys can have it and maybe somebody might just be looking for this.

This Pack Includes:

/Dojo with simplified outdoor appearance
/Dojo without roofing and any outdoor parts
/ Dojowall
/ Decorative Dojowall

Download
Download 2 : The Revenge

The collision for the dojohall does not work well on my end. there is a small chance that its because I run a beta of 1.20 but I doubt it which is why I added the floorless wallparts.

Enjoy!

Thank you! I caught the flu this week and started working on a medieval fantasy pack. I'll start a WiP around tomorrow, you can check it out if you are interested

@Cid: Thanks and your welcome!

@Blackfox: Your welcome.
Yes, 1.17 was far more superior in that aspect than the current 1.20. I assume its somehow related to the uncapped framerate but that would just be guessing.

@Tax78: Glad you like it

When I saw that it was you, Wolf, who made this I figured it would be no ordinary simple looking dojo. I was right. Thanks for the download. I am sure it will get used and be of great use for a lot of people.

@Flatlander:

You might laugh, but I actually started having just a plain normal dojo in mind...but somehow that concept didnt make it through the process of texturing

@Leaning Objects to the side / Tanja Glad you like it!! Also:

Thank you!! I do!

@Disturbing13: Thanks man!! By the way: have you released these segments somewhere?

@Tomahawk: Thx!! Yeah, I really should make a few more conventional props. Maybe something modernday horror related in the future

@Burger:

Thank you!! But to be honest,it has a couple texture stretching flaws

Not quite yet, I need to step up my game on them; They are from at least a year or two ago and not worthy of what I feel I'm capable of now. Might do a freebie community pack. This would be a great addition to it.

The problem is not the uncap but the changes to the collision to fix certain things seem to have broken more than scene thought it had.

I was going to download it but the download has been blocked due to it being packed or something.

I would like to download it to see what collision problems it has to look at the source to see why.

It has indeed! I sometimes get stuck in Objects I assigned "box" collision to. ...and THAT should be impossible.

thats odd! I just downloaded it myself again and it downloaded and unpacked without any issues. =/

I reupload the pack and will edit the first post.

@Wolf :- Many thanks for this the second link works fine.

Yeah there are some major collision issues with static entities and this problem seems to go back to later versions of v1.18.

I'm investigating what changed to have this bad collision problem fixed.

@ Wolf

The problem seems to be when lee added his new timer system for the whole engine but unfortunately we can't change that as its hard coded in a dll.

So we got to look at trying to fix this in a different way.

@Wolf.

Firstly, great model.

I've also been investigating this, and the one thing that seems to cause the most issues are entities as a floor. I would suggest trying to make the floor as a segment, but the other elements as an entity and see how that works. If you'd like to send me any media to test please feel free as it would be nice to come up with a solution to this. Bearing in mind that time is short for fixing this kind of issue and that FPSC was never intended to use entities in the fashion.

Thanks,

SC

This collision problem been doing my head so I looked at all the source to work a way to fix this.

The problem has been there for sometime but was not that noticeable in early versions.

After spending some time I've gone with making a raycast collision object for the player and changing back a bit of code that was taken out from early version and this is the result.

The shader is not shown in the screenshots so it might not have the effect you desire.

However: this shader is part of the metro theater modelpack.
