I'm doing a variation of Tutorial six that is using the image of a locker. I'm having problems with the loading...look at the code

Hi Rennekon.

There is no such command as "loadmap" on dbpro, unless you are using dbc witch i am not familiar with. However you can compile your .map file as a BSP file and use the Load BSP command, I am currently learning to do that with Valve Hammer using the Zoner compiler, its a little tricky, look at the 3 dimentional Chat Thread, there are some interresting postings about that.

See the brackets, loadmap is a function call.

Are you sure the image is actually there. Look in the <project name>\media folder and check.
What is the acutual problem you are having, can't load image at line xx etc.

My mistake. Perhaps it would be interresting to see the function because he put as the argument for the function "media/dungeon.map" and unless i am mistaken you cannot load a .map file in dbp.

The .map file in question is just a text file renamed to .map proberly not the .map format you are thinking of.

thats not my problem the issue is with loading the third image, the load.map is fine which is kink of weirdbut the locker thing won't work
