Hello,
I don't have Darkbasic yet, but maybe I will buy it. But I'm not sure if this program is what I'm looking for. Can you give me some links to good games that have been made with Darkbasic(not Pro)?
'Cause all the Darkbasic games I've played so far are really bad and ugly.

Are you a professional 3D modeller or graphic artist? because if not, your games are going to look "ugly" too.

There are over 200 games on the DB site combined in the showcase and retro compo sections. If you can't find one in there you like then this isn't the language for you.

the models are fine for what you've paid for, a whole programming language that can use the power of directx to make games, but there not a thing of beauty, they also vary in quatlity.

All of those 'ugly' games were because the makers werent artists. They were programmers Its not the language that gets you those pretty models, its YOUR ability to make them

Making games isnt just typing in letters, its more then that. To make a full game, wonderful graphics and all, youll also need to learn other skills. Just like if your learning how to play a sport. If your learning baseball, you cant just learn how to hit, you have to learn how to field too!

yea also dark matter has sum good models but the graphics arent the best still. But they are fully animated thats y i got it. Ithink the best game by dark basic is stoked that game is sweet. But the first time you lay it you wont like it cuz its a little glichy but once you get used to it its pretty realistioc.
