Alright, I don't like to request things from the community but I've tried multiple things and nothing really working like I want.

Essentially, (and I don't know if its do-able) I need a floating entity that has no collision to be facing and moving towards the player. This is the base part of the script I need and everything else I can work with from there.

The floating + no collision + moving forward + facing player. I've tried a whole bunch of scenarios but not all of it working at once. Like I said, I don't like to ask much around here but maybe a scripting genius can help me out.

Thanks

Make it a character and use either movefore= or followplr= or settarget,movetotarget=, there's a whole bunch of ways to do it..

Simply add moveup=,coloff at start of home,fpi script and remove the damage to player part (if you dont want it).
If you want it to appear to 'float' use a random action with: moveup= 10,-10 or whatever after intially setting the height at start.

I don't trip over...I do random gravity checks.

@Rolfy, if I'm not mistaken you had a ghost in Eldora that did that.

Alright. Well everything works but the only issue I'm getting is when adding no collision, the enemy doesn't move at all. I've turned off gravity as well so I don't know why it can't in theory just pass through static objects and walls?

It just sits and stares at me. Removing coloff from the script makes him active... but doesn't give the effect I want... which is the enemy being able to pass through solid objects.

EDIT:

I'm not sure what it is but corno's version seemed to make it work a little. I would figure at this point it might have something to do in how I ordered the commands. I'm going to test some more.

I test my script myself and see that it is not working, but I find a solution:
appear: appear1.fpi
main:

static=no
isimmobile=no
Physiks ON?=No
Always active=Yes

That work for me

Thanks Corno.

It was working before you posted again except it doesn't want to pass through every segment. It passes through most but unfortunately not all. I guess its just not do-able?
