Hey guys,
Don't know if this is the correct section, but... um... yeah...
Basically, I built a new PC recently so, I'm in the process of reinstalling all of my software. This includes FPSC.
I've heard some bad things about post 1.17 updates, but are some of the newer features worth the trouble?
I was previously on 1.18, but since I'm on a clean install, I thought I may as well go for the most stable feature filled update.

Do you have any model packs? if so some model packs don't work unless you have 1.18 such as task force 341. I think you could update to 1.19 if you wanted too I haven't used 1.17 but 1.18 and 1.19 have worked fine for me.

1, 3, 7, 19, 27, 29, 35, 37, 43 and 45.
I'm thinking I'll have to go for 1.19 then.

what you can do is go to those model packs and see if there compatible. If they are not compatible with some versions then it should say so right above the buy now banner. Just like model pack 53

first this is the wrong section. This must be in the fpsc product chat.
So now to your question: What is the best fpsc version:
some find 1.09 very good( i did not test it)
then 1.16 is also good and I never has a problem with it(+add later fenix mod)
1.17 this was after my opinion the best fpsc version,stable, fast, less bugs,
1.18 this was for me just 1.17 + water
1.19 was one of the worst version ever for me. Much bugs, performance laggs, crazy AI....
1.2 I did not have any problems with the latest, but some users have. But for me it is the best version ever. very stable, less bugs, very fast.

Also there are a lot of user mods like the wasp v2 mod with is very good( I like it a lot), s4mod and others. Each of this mod use another version as base. My tip:
Test all versions and find the best for you. Nobody can help you by this decision.
