hi
using the demo code for client/server that comes with darknet Ive had no issues getting the client to connect with IP`s from LAN connections both local and internet, however Ive been using same method of getting IP address but have not yet been able to connect via a mobile dongle(ie from myip site/google etc and even sample code from direct demo in snippets folder) - how on earth do I get the correct IP for a mobile dongle?

You want to host a server on a dongle connection?

I think they give you a local address within their network similar to as if you were behind a NAT enabled router. Unless they give you a way of forwarding ports, which I doubt they will do, then you can't make your server publicly accessible.
