There's a problem with the plrforcemove=x action. It forces the player to move forwards or backwards but it only works when the player is not pressing the move forwards or backwards button. If I hold the move forward key while the plrforcemove=x action is supposed to make the player move backwards, the player can still move forward. Also, plrfreeze or plrdisable do not help solve the problem.

Use the action WALKKEYS=0/1 and ARROWKEYS=0/1 to toggle movement keys on and off.

The walkkeys=0/1 action doesn't work. Let's say we make a script that has the action "walkkeys=0" in it and put the script in a triggerzone. If the player goes into the zone while moving forward, the walk keys are disabled but the player still keeps moving forward! It's like the move forward key is still being pressed.
The arrowkeys=0/1 action also doesn't work because it doesn't disable the WASD keys. It just enables the arrow keys in additional to the WASD keys.

I notice this in all my scripts. A workaround is:
add "plrdisable=10" in front of the "walkkeys=0". This should work
